Such a well-written story! I love the setting you chose for this, the night before the battle, the melancholy and the wistfulness... really good! I would love to get the before and after of this, but this alone is magical in itself

Thank you!! I was very inspired (in a roundabout way) of my memories of playing Dragon Age: Origins, and the short talk you have with each companion before the final battle... They could have made those scenes 10x longer and I wouldve loved it!! xD

I agree it's bittersweet, but I also want to know what has happened before that!

Thank you for playing :D Yeah I'm a sucker for epic fantasy stories... if only it didnt take so long to actually write a whole epic tale from start to finish!! x) I'm glad the bittersweet feeling came across.

but it’s really good too!

Thank you! I definitely wanted it to be bittersweet so I'm glad that came across. I love fantasy games and I wish more fantasy rpgs and similar games focused more on the quieter emotional beats and not just the epic battles and the fate of the world at large x)

This is so depressing! 😭 but in a sad and bittersweet way.
